When you love a man, he becomes more than a body. His physical limbs expand, and his outline recedes, vanishes. He is rich and sweet and right. He is a part of the world, the atmosphere, the blue sky and the blue water.

I got mugged.
So, yeah… after nearly 8 years of living in SF, it finally happened— I got mugged. It happened last week after a gym sesh. Four on one. Not funsies. Still spooked/paranoid. Oh, well. Life goes on.

Man, yesterday was rough.
We have fights. We don’t always say or do the right thing. We’re not perfect. But at the end of the day, we make sure we’ve actually listened to each other and gotten our message across. We make sure we don’t go to bed angry or upset. Deep down we’re both sensitive people and we fight for the right reasons.
I’m very lucky and thankful for having such a wonderful man in my life.
